Last month, I outlined in my first post why I decided to start this blog. I’m pleased to announce that I came second place in the CUP bursary competition, and will be receiving £200 to go towards my university fees! I’m really grateful and happy to be recognised for the effort I’ve put into my blog. It was also good to hear some feedback, and I will work on the areas of my blog that the judges felt needed some improvement.I also found out recently that, from this Monday, I will be undertaking a full-time three week internship at Headline Publishing in the Publicity department. While I’m interning, I also have an exam at university and I need to complete a book proposal. For this reason, at least for the next month, my blog will have to be an extra that I work on after the rest of my work is done, so I expect that my posts will perhaps slow to around one or two per week. At the end of November, I should be able to spend more time on my blog again.
As I said a couple of weeks ago, I’m so glad that I started my blog as I feel that it helps to focus my free time, and it has enabled me to keep up with the latest in publishing. I’m very thankful to everyone who has followed me on Twitter, read any of my blog posts, or engaged with me on social media after reading a post.
